Incredibly detailed game, though difficult.
This game can be quite hard and that’s why I didn’t put it at somewhere around 6+. It also requires reading and for lots of parts of the game lots of comprehension of stories to get the full appeal of this game. No violence or anything, just a reference to suicide and some advanced thinking required to truly enjoy the game.

A fair review…
This game is absolutely incredible but it does have quite a bit of gore in it. It’s in third person so it’s not as severe as a game like Doom but it’s still fairly gory. I personally don’t think much about sex, but I know most parents do so I’m including this here. Any mature teenager can probably handle this game. It’s not like they don’t know that these things exist or haven’t seen them. And let’s be real, if you’ve been on the internet you’ve almost definitely seen pornography. This game does have some good role models and is one of the best games my daughter and I have ever played. If your child or in this case teen is mature, then they can almost definitely handle this game.

I don’t understand the common sense reviewers.
I personally have no problem whatsoever with this game. The killing is honestly not that prominent when I have watched my kid play it, but when it does happen it can be a little gory. But it’s not stuff like cutting someone’s head off. If you have a problem with your kid seeing a person die, then don’t get it. But if you are fine with somebody dying then do get it. (There’s an option to turn blood off so it’s not really a problem if you worry about blood) Overall a fantastic game for tweens
